Read All About It!

http://www.nola.com/homegarden/index.ssf/2013/10/living_large_in_a_small_space.html

Here is an article about me and my tiny house. The photographer got some really good shots. Can't express enough how much I appreciate everyone's support throughout this whole process. I will be starting other projects and will keep posting about how to live a BIG LIFE right here! So check back once and awhile!

  1. Love the Tiny/Micro House. Welcome to the tiny/micro house club. Wish you all the luck with your home and upcoming projects. Think about using "Flickr" as a medium for posting photos/descriptions. I use it to document all my projects: www.flickr.com/mbarkley/sets

  2. Love the house!!! My name is Whitney, I am completing a Certificate at Yestermomrrow Design Build school in Warren, VT. For my project I am researching the availability of homeowners insurance for tiny homes. If you own a tiny home please take a few moments to fill out this survey. Thank you for your time! https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/DXXW3X3

  3. My husband and I live in Evangeline Parish and are planning to build a tiny house (bigger than yours, 12x20, and not on wheels. I'd be interested in code and other issues you might have faced. Thanks!

  5. Hey I'm not sure if you're still active, but I just wanted to let you know I made a little post about a few tiny house bloggers - and you're on it. You can find it here: http://brick-b.de/tiny-house-community/. Let me know what you think and if the information is accurate. All the best, Nicolas

    1. It's accurate. Thanks for including me. I haven't been active on here for a while as you can see but there has been a lot happening. I will probably do an update on a website name change sometime soon. I have recently dismantled my entire tiny house and have been using the materials to retrofit a barn on a new farm I just bought.

    3. Hey there! I live in st Tammany also and am looking into going tiny. Most of the things I've seen make it seem like the coding and regulations do not allow for living tiny here. Can you email me some info about how you figured all that out? I work in parish and would rather stay close to work if I can! Thank you! Mlpasqua87@gmail.com

  6. Hi admin,
I read your blog,I really like it.which is abouot buy my house.
There are many attractions that come with buying a house that you will not enjoy while in a rental house.
it is only you who has the keys to it and no one will come locking it for you like it is for people in rental houses when they default payments.

  7. Hi admin
I read your blog, its really awesome, I love it.
I have additionally this related website.
Buy my house' is the mantra of many borrowers frantically trying to obtain financial relief from home mortgage loans or to avoid foreclosure.
Better options exist for people who are facing foreclosure but want to save their home.
